Public Transport Directions

From Bergen (3 1/2 hours)
By car: Take the E39 going north. After about 2 hours you will reach the Oppedal-Lavik ferry crossing. Sailing times are available here.   After a half an hour ferry crossing you will arrive in Lavik. Follow the signs for Hyllestad. Here you take the Fv607 for about 20 minutes until you hit the Fv57 (in good conditions it is possible instead to take the quicker route along the Fv63 from Lavik).  After a couple of mintes on the Fv57 you will see a sign for Askvoll and Hyllestad. Take a left turn and drive along the Fv607 for 30 minutes until you reach Hellvik. Follow the signs poiting left towards Askvoll.  After about 20 minutes on the Fv61 you will reach Lammetun. Follow the the signs to Salbu and then Korssund and Lammetun coastal fortress.

From Florø (2  1/2 hours) and Førde (1 1/2 hours)
By car: Follow the Rv5 from Florø to Førde. Take the E39 to Sande. Here you turn west towards Dale. From Dale you follow the signs to Bergen and then to Askvoll until you reach Hellevik. Follow the signs for Salbu and then Korssund and Lammetun coastal fortress.

From Askvoll (40 minutes)
By car and ferry: Take the 20 minute ferry trip from Askvoll centre to Fure. Check the timetable here. Follow the signs to Salbu and then to Korssund and Lammetun coastal fortress.  By car (1 hour): In the event there is a long wait until the next ferry sailing it is possible to drive round via Dale by following the Fv609 and the Fv607.
