Cultural walking

We want to show you many of the hidden gems in our heritage, through self guided cultural hikes along the Fjord Coast.

You can explore and learn more about the history of different locations through taking an easy stroll, and using your smartphone or Ipad to download a videostory that tells you about the history of this unique spot. Information boards will also provide you with pictures and stories about the site. This give you the opportunity to explore the exciting heritage of the Fjord Coast all year long, combined with enjoying the beautiful landscape and having a nice and easy hike.

The cultural hikes will be available from August 2016 at these locations: Eivindvik and the Gulating park outside Eivindvik in Gulen, Hardbakke in Solund, The Millstone Park in Hyllestad, Dale and Korssund in Fjaler, Askvoll and Stongfjorden in Askvoll, Ausevika in Flora and Kalvåg and Svelgen in Bremanger.
